Dr. Alicia Arbaje appeared as a guest on the NPR live show “1A”

Written by on October 15, 2024

The name of the show is inspired by the First Amendment, and the show explores the most important issues facing the country. The show launched in 2017, and its goal has been to act as a national mirror, taking time to help America look at itself and to ask what it wants to be. The program is produced by WAMU and distributed by NPR. Dr. Arbaje discussed the transition through middle age, the convergence of changing societal pressures and family dynamics during this time, the importance of establishing a longitudinal relationship with a primary care provider (including geriatricians!), and reflections on resilience throughout our lifespans.
