Dr. Chute has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine in recognition of his “long-standing leadership and innovation in representation of clinical and phenotyping data in computable form.” Adding to this incredible honor, Dr. Chute is also the 2024 recipient of the AMIA (American Medical Informatics Association) William W. Stead Award for Thought Leadership in Informatics! This award highlights his strategic contributions to the transformation of biomedical and health informatics. He’ll receive this well-deserved recognition at the AMIA 2024 Annual Symposium on Nov. 12 in San Francisco.
