The US National Academy of Medicine (NAM)’s Healthy Longevity Global Competition is part of
a global movement to improve the physical, mental, and social well-being of people as they age.
Since 2020, the NAM and its global partners have built a large and diverse network, issuing
Catalyst Awards to over 500 teams of scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs, health leaders, and
policymakers for innovative solutions to extend the human healthspan. An awardee from the first grant year, Visilant, recently received this award.
