The JH AITC will host this event on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 11:30am to 4pm in the Grossi Auditorium, Asthma & Allergy Center Building, 5501 Hopkins Bayview Circle. With significant advances in artificial intelligence, there is enormous potential to revolutionize the health, health care delivery, and well-being of older adults. This free event will serve as a collaborative forum for discussing the intersection of artificial intelligence, health care, and aging. The goal is to foster communication, transparency, and collaboration among diverse key stakeholders, including older adults, care partners, clinicians, health system leaders, payers, technology developers, investors, and researchers. Highlights of the symposium include keynote addresses by:
Dr. Cheryl Phillips, a leader in geriatric care and health policy, currently a senior program consultant for the John A. Hartford Foundation’s Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative.
Dr. Amanda Lazar, an associate professor specializing in the design of technology for older adults, particularly those with dementia, from the University of Maryland.
Additionally, a panel discussion featuring experts from engineering, medicine, business, and patient representatives will provide insights into the integration of AI in healthcare for older adults. Registration opens July 26, 2024. Networking and lunch will be available for registrants at 11:30am. For more information, please contact [email protected]
