The symposium was held Monday, November 20, 2023 on the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus. Given the recent challenges faced by clinicians, especially with the inundation of COVID, AI, and other emerging technologies, the symposium highlighted the current state of proactive approaches to engineering within healthcare that lead to improved quality, safety and equity for patients. Industry experts, researchers, and practitioners gathered to explore the latest advancements, share insights, and foster collaborations to drive transformative change in patient-focused healthcare.
